MDIO, Toastmasters District 75 offer free public speaking training for PH Rotaractors

Do you want to improve your communication skills? Do you want to learn how to write speeches, present in a group of Toastmaster experts and get helpful feedback?

Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO partnered with Toastmasters International District 75 Philippines to offer the Speechcraft Program virtually for FREE to first 100 Filipino Rotaractors who will signup.

Speechcraft is a program designed to develop one's public speaking ability. One will gain confidence in all aspects of communication, including written and impromptu speeches, audio-visual aids, body language, active listening and critical evaluation.

The local partnership of Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO with Toastmasters International District 75 Philippines is actually a response to the global partnership of Rotary International and Toastmasters International.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit, educational organization with more than 16,800 clubs in 143 countries. Since 1924, it has helped its members become more effective speakers, communicators, and leaders through a worldwide network of clubs, much like Rotary. To help achieve Rotarians and Rotaractors' personal and professional goals, Rotary International worked with Toastmasters to provide opportunities to grow members' networks as well as their leadership and communication skills.

To enroll in the local Speechcraft Program, Filipino Rotaractors have to undertake the following steps.

Batches will be assigned specific Saturdays from September 26 to October 24 where participants in each batch will deliver their speech and be evaluated by Toastmasters experts and co-participants. Graduation ceremony will be on October 30, 2020. All Speechcraft Program activities will be done virtually.
