ABOUT DRRETS
The District Rotaract Representative Elect Training Seminar is the annual pre-term leadership training of the incoming district Rotaract leaders of the ten Rotary International districts in the Philippines.
Since 2008, the training has brought together the country's Rotaract leaders for enriching sessions focused on the following:
- Review of district Rotaract leadership roles and responsibilities
Development of competencies that will lead to effective district administration
Setting up a forum among Past District Rotaract Representatives and Past District Governors for leaders to consult their wealth of knowledge and experience
Provision of opportunities for district leaders to bond and continue the fellowship among the member districts throughout the Rotary year

THE LOGO
The official DRRETS logo is inspired by the tangram, a wooden puzzle consisting of basic shapes which can be rearranged to form thousands of different figures.
Just like the tangram, DRRETS always begins with the basics then through the pooling of experiences and ideas of district Rotaract leaders, the training outputs lead to the formation of unlimited possibilities for a better Pilipinas Rotaract.
The colors used in the logo are the leadership and secondary colors of the Rotary brand which also resemble the primary colors of the Philippine flag.
THE EVENT THEME
Building the Pilipinas Rotaract Blueprint for Transformation
Pilipinas Rotaract is now operating in a world of unprecedented disruptions. If we want Rotaract to be an organization of the future, we need to TRANSFORM. Transformation revolves around the need to generate new value for our members and our partners, to unlock new opportunities, to drive new growth and to deliver new efficiencies to the way we do our activities. All transformations require that we rethink how our organization creates value today and in the future.
This year's DRRETS will jumpstart the Pilipinas Rotaract journey of transformation beginning with the need to go back to the drawing board with a clean slate - to rethink and challenge the status quo. It's not just enough to win today. In order to sustain our growth amidst constant challenges, we need to chart a strong blueprint for transformation.

RECORDING OF 13TH DRRETS SESSIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Participating in the DRRETS
WHO ARE THE MAIN TARGET BENEFICIARIES OF DRRETS?
DRRETS is a leadership training specific to incoming District Rotaract Representatives with the aim of equipping them of helpful insights that they would need as they lead their respective districts next term. DRRNs and DRRNDs are encouraged to join so they can already be trained ahead of their terms. Incumbent DRRs and PDRRs (usually MDIO officers) also join the DRRETS to participate in the sessions and share their past experiences and accumulated insights about the topics.
HOW WERE THE PROGRAM TOPICS SELECTED?
The DRRETS topics were based from Rotary International's Guide for District Rotaract Representatives and the 2020 International Assembly (IA) Handbook. The International Assembly (IA) is the annual training of District Governors Elect worldwide. The 2020 IA is also the second time that select Rotaract leaders across the world were asked to participate. The MDIO Chair and Chair Elect were part of the select group. The immediate plan of action after the IA is to cascade their insights to Rotaract district and club leaders. The program has also undergone the review of Rotary International District 3780 Training Team.
WHERE WILL DRRETS TAKE PLACE?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, this year's DRRETS will be conducted virtually using Zoom Video Conferencing App. To prevent technical difficulties during the training which may be possibly brought about by increased bandwith usage due to high volume of participants in the videoconferencing app, the participants accessing through Zoom will be limited only to maximum of 50 participants. Priority access will be given to present and incoming district Rotaract representatives and MDIO leaders as well as key officers of the host district and lead host club. Other PDRRs may request to participate through a live feed to be broadcasted in an exclusive Facebook group for PDRRs.
WHICH PARTS OF THE PROGRAM WILL BE BROADCASTED VIA FACEBOOK LIVE?
The Live Chat with RI President Elect Holger Knaack and MDIO Handover will be broadcasted in full as these are monumental events in Philippine Rotaract history. All of the general learning sessions will be recorded and portions relevant for club officers and members will be posted at a later time. Sessions exclusive for MDIO and district Rotaract leaders such as the presentation of the district five year plans and MDIO meeting will not be broadcasted live nor video of the whole proceedings be made publicly available. The District Rotaract Representatives are expected though to cascade the critical insights and decisions made during DRRETS.
HOW CAN ROTARACT CLUB OFFICERS AND MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN DRRETS?
The Rotaract club officers and members shall follow the social media accounts of Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO. Live broadcasts and pre-recorded videos will be posted through the said social media accounts. The DRRETS Organizing Committee will also post speaker quotes as well as solicit questions and opinions from social media followers while the sessions are ongoing. Your question or opinion might be cited during the session with speakers and panelists so it is important that Rotaract club officers and members stay tuned to Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO social media accounts during the published dates and times of DRRETS.
HOW CAN ROTARACT CLUB OFFICERS AND MEMBERS IN THE LIVE CHAT WITH RI PE?
Rotaract club officers and members participating in the live chat must register and submit their questions here. Due to time limitation, the DRRETS Organizing Committee will select the questions to be asked to RI PE. The name and club of the Rotaractor whose question has been selected will be mentioned during the live chat. Ensure that you submit a very good question.
